Preschool Back to School Night

We went to Dominic's back to school night & saw all of the things he had been doing since starting school. This is just one of his little art projects I had to snap a picture of with my phone.

So cute!

SICK, SICK, & REALLY SICK!

All I can say is Poor Dominic!

On Thursday morning around 1am, Dominic woke up & had wet his bed so I let him come into bed with us, which is when we realized that he had a fever. I changed him into lighter clothing & then put him back in his bed thinking he would be cooler. Then about an hour later he woke up again not feeling well & wanting to come back in our bed. He was REALLY Hot and had a 102.8 temperature. He was whining, talking in his sleep, & whimpering. At about 2:30 (when the real 'fun' began), Daddy went downstairs to sleep & I stayed in bed with him. About 2 minutes after daddy left the room, Dominic woke up puking! All over me, our bed, & himself. We both took a shower & changed the sheets then got back in bed. Within 5 minutes, he puked again ALL over himself. Back to the shower again... Poor guy! After all of this, we both got back in bed again & slept for a few hours. Around 4am, I took his temperature again & he was 103.5... YIKES! This is when I got really nervous & called the Doctor's office. They told me to take him into the ER so off we went. Daddy stayed with Ethan & I took Dominic in.

We were taken in right away & when they took his temperature he was 104.9!!

His little ankle bracelet.

After a lot of motrin & anti-nausea meds we were discharged when his fever dropped down to 100 degrees...HUGE difference than before. Diagnosis was that he had a bad virus.

Dominic had to miss preschool due to being sick!

Later that morning, Meds kicked in & feeling a little better, & Mommy's HUGE mound of puke sheets & towels!

This was actually on Friday... After I took Dominic took see Dr. Taylor because he still was not breaking his fevers & was vomitting. Right when the doctor saw him & listened to his chest, he knew Dominic had Pneumonia right away.

Dominic slept most of the last few days & has since started antibiotics... Hopefully he feels better soon!

Swim School

Both boys still LOVE their swim school!

Dominic still has a hard time putting his head underwater... This picture is classic of him trying not to go under

Preschool Orientation

Monthly calendar & schedule

Daily Routine

Preschool orientation lasted for 30 minutes... This was Dominic's first time in his class with his classmates & no parents. He cried, but then calmed down & participated in all activities.

Needless to say, he was so happy to be picked up & show me everything in his class.
