Homecoming

This does not look like the face of someone who just had brain surgery, but it is!

We love this little boy so much & feel so incredible blessed for how lucky we were to have his surgery go so well with an even better recovery.

We checked in on the 28th & left on the 30th!

This is definitely a time to count our blessings & be thankful for how everything turned out. Dr. Muhonen told us that 90% of the time he operates in the region where Dominic had his surgery, it is usually a tumor. We feel like we dodged a bullet.

We wish every parent could only be this lucky. As we walked around the ICU, I couldn't help but think of the horrible pain all of the parents of the children were experiencing. I think we had the healthiest child on the unit.

So for every parent with a baby in the ICU...We pray & hope for their strength during this difficult time.
